| March 19, 2010 - INCF NL Node 10th Neuroinformatics Workshop INCF and Neuroinformatics in the Netherlands ZonMw Building, Den Haag The 10th workshop was very successful and enthusiastically attended by about 44 participants. The morning lectures focussed on INCF activities as workshops and programs, and the progress made in task forces. The lectures illustrated the significant contribution of Dutch researchers in these activities. The afternoon was dedicated to young researchers who demonstrated their great enthusiams for neuroinformatics research challenges. Finally, Prof. Paul Tiesinga shared his vision on the future of neuroinformatics in the Netherlands, which lecture was followed by a plenary discussion. There was great support for the idea of regular work meetings, prepared by local organizers at various locations in the country. Many participants agreed to act as local organizers of such meetings. It was in particular much appreciated that our colleagues from the Belgian INCF node (Dr. Yann Le Franc, University of Antwerp) expressed their interest in participating in this rotational meeting schedule.

November 26, 2004 - NL 3rd Neuroinformatics Workshop - Challenges for the Netherlands ZonMw Building, Den Haag The successful workshop was attended by about 50 participants from the neurosciences (60%), computer sciences (30%) and officials from OCW, ZonMw, EW-NWO and ALW-NWO. Neuroinformatics opportunities were discussed for the Netherlands, in the area of data sharing, data integration and analysis, and computational modeling. Introductions were presented on behalf of ZonMw (Dr. Beem), OCW (Dr. Broesterhuizen) and the Neuroinformatics Steering Committee (Dr. Van Pelt). The main body of the workshop consisted of 14 scientific presentations including 2 tele-presentations from Edinburgh, UK. Prof. Siebes (computer sciences and steering group member) finished the workshop with a summary presentation.
